You’ve got some yummy sounding recipes there. In my top ten would be lentil, minestrone, watercress, beetroot – same as you; then tomato and chickpea, mint and pea, broccoli and cheese, red pepper and feta, split pea and either onion or rice – can’t decide!

Sweet potato and carrot is wonderful, especially in chilly weather but at any time of year really.
Great suggestion, Wendy. In the UK, it is possible to grow sweet potatoes in milder areas or in glass houses. They usually harvest around August, so this would make a perfect late Summer and early Autumn soup. I can imagine it with a bit of a peppery kick and a dollop of creme fraiche. Mmmmm!
