In Season in September

Posted by: VegBox Recipes

The kids’ll be going back to school, and it’s the season for conkers and "Holy Rood" day (September 14th), which I once read was maked, traditionally, by children being freed from school (or work!) to gather nuts!

To mark this traditional date, we’re looking for information and recipes on forage-able British nuts, so if you’ve got anything to share, do get in touch.
