Ingredients
(Serves 4)
25g butter
4 chicory, halved long-ways
2 tsp honey
Juice of half an orange
salt and freshly ground pepper
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C / 350F
2. Grease the bottom of an ovenproof dish with 10g of the butter
3. Mix the honey and the orange juice in a cup
4. Lay the chicory in the ovenproof dish and and drizzle over the honey and orange mix, season and spot with the rest of the butter
5. Place the dish in the over and roast for an hour, turning and basting regularly.
6. Remove from the over when only a small amount of syrup is left in the dish and the chicory looks caramelised, then allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
